SEMIP CODECHAMP at Eurosatory 2026: Five Days of Exchanges on Defense, Security and Industrial Sovereignty

On the occasion of Eurosatory 2026, SEMIP CODECHAMP was pleased to take part in one of the major international events dedicated to defense and security.

Jun 29, 2026

Over five days, our team had the opportunity to welcome many visitors to our booth: customers, partners, industrial companies, institutional representatives, prime contractors, technical experts and stakeholders involved in today’s key industrial sovereignty challenges.
This edition was a particularly valuable moment for SEMIP CODECHAMP. It gave us the opportunity to present our know-how, discuss current and future market needs, and strengthen our relationships within a defense and security ecosystem undergoing rapid transformation.

Exchanges at the heart of technological and industrial challenges

Eurosatory is much more than a trade show. It is a place for meetings, observation and dialogue for all players contributing to defense, security and industrial innovation. For SEMIP CODECHAMP, participating in the event was an opportunity to highlight the essential role of position sensors in mission-critical systems.
Our technologies – optical encoders, magnetic encoders, potentiometers and Hall-effect sensors – are designed to be integrated into demanding mechanisms requiring precision, reliability, robustness and custom adaptation. In defense applications, they can contribute to functions such as guidance, pointing, stabilization, actuator position feedback, optronic systems, turrets, radars, embedded mechanisms and test benches.
The discussions held at our booth confirmed the growing importance of these functions in next-generation systems. Visitors increasingly expressed needs related to compactness, redundancy, harsh-environment robustness, long-term reliability, supply chain sovereignty and the ability to provide solutions tailored to specific system architectures.

Strong momentum around industrial sovereignty

Eurosatory 2026 took place in a context where sovereignty, supply chain resilience and control of critical technologies have become central issues. These topics are fully aligned with SEMIP CODECHAMP’s strategy.
As a French group specialized in the design and manufacturing of high-precision position sensors, we are convinced that local industrial control is a major strength. It enables direct technical relationships with customers, better control of know-how, responsiveness in custom developments and the ability to support critical programs over the long term.
Throughout the exhibition, our discussions confirmed the interest of industrial and institutional stakeholders in partners capable of providing reliable, customizable and France-made solutions. This expectation is particularly strong in areas where embedded components play a decisive role in system performance, availability and long-term support.

Meetings that support innovation

Beyond presenting our technologies, Eurosatory 2026 was also a valuable listening opportunity. The questions, feedback and technical discussions with visitors helped us identify new expectations, better understand the constraints of systems under development, and enrich our thinking about the future evolution of our product and service offering.
These exchanges are essential. They feed our innovation process and help us focus our developments on the real needs of users, system integrators and industrial customers. For SEMIP CODECHAMP, innovation is not only about developing new products. It also means understanding integration constraints, anticipating market developments and offering robust, adapted and sustainable solutions.
The exhibition also highlighted the complementarity between Semip and Codechamp expertise. Semip potentiometers and Hall-effect sensors address needs for robust, compact and reliable position feedback in actuators and embedded mechanisms. Codechamp optical and magnetic encoders provide high-precision solutions for demanding pointing, stabilization, guidance and angular measurement applications.

A round table on industrial challenges

SEMIP CODECHAMP would also like to thank everyone who attended the round table in which Alexandre Finkelstein, President of SEMIP CODECHAMP, participated alongside the DGA – Direction générale de l’armement and Weinberg Capital Partners.

This discussion provided an opportunity to address key issues for the future of industry: the development of technology SMEs, financing growth, consolidating know-how, industrial sovereignty, innovation and the ability to meet the needs of major programs.

We would like to thank all participants for their attention, contributions and interest in the topics discussed. These exchanges help strengthen the dialogue between industrial companies, investors and institutions, in support of a strong, agile and sustainable defense technological and industrial base.

Thank you for your trust

SEMIP CODECHAMP warmly thanks everyone who took the time to visit us during these five days. Your visits, questions, feedback and the quality of our discussions made this edition a particularly meaningful moment for our team.
Beyond the technologies presented, it is above all the meetings, discussions and relationships built throughout Eurosatory 2026 that will mark this edition.
We leave the exhibition with new perspectives, strengthened ideas and an even stronger commitment to supporting our customers and partners in their critical projects.
Thank you for your trust. We already look forward to continuing these exchanges and building the next steps together.
