EXPERTISE

CONDUCTIVE PLASTIC TECHNOLOGY

Conductive plastic track potentiometers are manufactured using inks developed in-house in our laboratory under controlled atmosphere conditions. These materials are deposited onto an insulating substrate and then polymerized to form a stable plastic conductive track.
The automated deposition process ensures repeatability and consistent performance for position sensing applications.

HALL-EFFECT TECHNOLOGY

SEMIP also develops non-contact Hall-effect position sensors integrating a proprietary ASIC.
This technology eliminates wear phenomena and enables the development of industrial sensors with :

  • Long service life
  • Stable performance
  • High resistance to environmental constraints

WIREWOUND TECHNOLOGY

Wirewound technology is based on the use of resistive wire wound onto an insulating support through a controlled manufacturing process ensuring high consistency.

This technology enables the design of:

  • Single-turn rotary potentiometers
  • Multi-turn rotary potentiometers
  • Linear potentiometers

providing precise and reliable position measurement.

ASSEMBLY AND TESTING

Potentiometer assembly uses materials selected for their mechanical and electrical properties. Manufacturing is carried out using automated equipment and qualified operators in controlled environments (ISO 8 and ISO 7 depending on the application).
Each sensor undergoes automated final testing to ensure long-term measurement reliability and stability.
