The EcoVadis assessment is now widely recognized as an international reference for evaluating corporate sustainability performance. It assesses companies across several key areas, including the environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
Receiving the Bronze Medal is an important milestone for SEMIP CODECHAMP. It acknowledges the efforts already undertaken and confirms that our approach is part of a positive and continuous improvement process.
For our group, corporate social responsibility is not separate from our industrial activity. It is embedded in the way we work: designing reliable, durable and application-specific products while controlling our impact and developing more responsible practices.

SEMIP CODECHAMP designs and manufactures high-precision position sensors for demanding environments. Our technologies — optical encoders, magnetic encoders, Hall-effect sensors and potentiometers — are integrated into critical mechanisms requiring precision, robustness and long service life.
In our business, sustainability starts with product quality. A reliable sensor, designed to operate over time, helps reduce replacements, maintenance operations, waste and service interruptions. This requirement is particularly important in space, aerospace, defence and industrial applications, where equipment must withstand severe constraints in terms of vibration, temperature, lifetime and reliability.
Our CSR commitment is therefore naturally aligned with our industrial culture: doing things properly, durably and responsibly.

This EcoVadis recognition therefore reinforces our credibility with customers and partners. It confirms that SEMIP CODECHAMP is committed to an approach consistent with the standards expected by the most demanding markets.

SEMIP CODECHAMP has a strong French industrial identity. Our teams design, develop and manufacture position sensing solutions for critical applications. This close connection between engineering, production, quality and customer support is a major strength.
It enables better control of know-how, greater responsiveness and a direct technical relationship with our customers. It also contributes to preserving specialized industrial skills in France.
